Northwest Crankshaft and Machine Ltd is a business to business engineering company based in Manchester.

at Northwest Crankshafts we will manufacture small to medium crankshafts.

We typically manufacture will within a range in size from 125mm throw and up to 2 meters in length, and will can manufacture from: billets; forgings and rolled bar.

They will be manufactured using several different materials including steels and cast iron, using a number of different techniques: turning, milling, grinding, bed, lap and polish. Each crankshaft will be produced to our client’s individual specification, drawings and tolerances.

We also offer a reconditioning service.

All crankshafts are subject to initial inspection including crack detect using magnetic particle testing full report. Regrinding of pin and journals to customer specification. Full final inspection on diameters and report provided.
